Toseina syrup 2 mg/ml ( Drank / Lean)
Toseina syrup for the treatment of irritative or non-productive cough. They contain expectorants and codeine (dihydrocodeinone or dihydrocodeine), which acts centrally on the bulbar cough centers and also has analgesic and antidiarrheal action. Codeine has high antitussive power at low doses – such as those included in these associations -, analgesic effects appear at high doses.}
POSOLOGY
The dose will be established individually according to the patient’s medical criteria and clinical condition.
PRECAUTIONS
Pregnancy: Category C: Potentially risky, evaluate risk benefit. 3rd. trimester Category D: obvious fetal risk, use as a last resort.
Breastfeeding: Probably safe at usual doses.
They can cause sedation and drug dependence.
COMPOSITION
Every 5 ml:
Codeine (as phosphate) – 10 mg
Pseudoephedrine HCl – 30 mg
Chlorpheniramine maleate – 2 mg
